Coach Henry "Hank" C. Raymonds is a inductee into the
Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame
because of his contributions to the sport, both
nationally and in the state of Wisconsin.

He was the head basketball coach at Marquette
University from 1977-1983, and served as a Assistant
Coach from 1961, including under Al McGuire on the
1977 National Championship team.

His biggest accomplishments and greatest legacy will be
the number of young men he influenced with great
basketball potential to develop the same passion for
academics and education.  This can be best
summarized by one of his players:

"As an athlete, Coach Raymonds was the driving force
behind many players pursuit of higher education.
Coach planted many seed relating to life after sports,
maintaining dignity, integrity and respect.  I am
fortunate to have met Coach Raymonds and to have
him as a mentor."
